City Recycling Center to Permanently Close

The City Super Recycling Center at K-Mart at 7428 Kingston Pike will permanently close on March 3, 2007 because of property renovation in the near futrue.

"This has been a temporary location and the City is greatful to Tarver Properties and K-Mart for allowing the Public Service Division to use this site," said Bob Whetsel, Public Service Divison Director. "The City is actively looking for a new location for the center."

Residents can recycle at either the Goodwill Recycling Center at 341 Parkvillage Rd. - across from P&S School Supply or, the Kroger Recycling Center at 4918 Kingston Pike - Knox Plaza
