West Hills/John Bynon Park is a diverse park located on the edge of West Hills neighborhood. Recreation venues include softball/baseball, basketball, tennis, playgrounds, and the 1.9-mile paved Jean Teague Greenway.

In 2012, the City and the Greater Knoxville Tennis Association opened the new West Hills Tennis Center clubhouse. The clubhouse is 1,400 square feet with a welcome area, an office, a meeting room, and restrooms with showers.

In 2015, two tennis courts on the east side of the park were converted into six permanent pickleball courts.
