As part of a national campaign to increase awareness about missing children, Shoney's of Knoxville, Inc. will again host a series of Shoney's KidCare events at area malls in conjunction with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Parents will receive personal identification for their children to keep in a safe place, which can assist local authorities should their child ever become missing.

At KidCare, participants will receive FREE KidCare identification cards with the child's photo included; having these documents ready and available speeds up the recovery effort should a child become missing. Knoxville Police Department officials will also be on-site for fingerprinting, and representatives from Children's Hospital and Safety City will provide additional child safety information.
