Due to utility maintenance, KUB will have lane closures on Lyons View Pike, Westland and State St. July 20-22.

(West Knoxville) Lyons View Pike Lane Closure [July 20-21 & July 21-22] – KUB contract crews will reduce a short section of Lyons View Pike to one alternating lane of traffic between S. Northshore Drive and Oak Grove Lane overnight from 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, to 5 a.m., Thursday, July 21, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area. Lane closures will alternate between the eastbound and westbound lane throughout the night as the work progresses. Work will occur during the same hours Thursday, July 21, through Friday, July, 22 only in the event that work is not completed July 20 -21. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. 

(West Knoxville) Westland Drive Lane Closure [July 20-21] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of Westland Drive to one alternating lane of traffic between Craig road and Craigland Court from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., on Wednesday, July 20, and Thursday, July 21, as work is performed on the wastewater collection system in the area. The westbound lane will be closed, while the eastbound lane remains open and is used to alternate traffic flow.  Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. 

(Downtown Knoxville) State Street Road Closure [July 20] – KUB crews will close a section of State Street between Union Avenue and Commerce Avenue, overnight from 3 a.m.- 6 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, as work is performed on the electric distribution system in the area. Alternate routes include S. Gay Street, S. Central Street, and Clinch Avenue. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. 
  
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
