On Tuesday, August 16, from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m., Knoxville Utilities Board will perform work on the water distribution system near the intersection of E. Glenwood Avenue and N. Sixth Avenue.
This work will occur out of the roadway and is not expected to impact traffic; however, drivers should still use caution when traveling in this area.
This work will impact a short section of the First Creek Greenway, which will be closed during work hours.
The sidewalk on the north side of E. Glenwood Avenue will not be impacted, and will remain open to pedestrians.
