Drowning in South Knoxville at Ijams Nature Center quarry 
On 06/18/20 at approx. 7:50 pm, E911 received a call about a possible drowning at the Ijams Nature Center located at 3112 Island Home Ave. The caller advised that a teenaged boy had gone under while swimming and never resurfaced.
