Repaving Work on West Hills ...
Repaving Work on West Hills Park parking lots and Northwest Greenway to Begin Wednesday
The City’s Engineering Department is currently overseeing the 2018 Facilities Paving Project, which includes resurfacing for five City facilities, including:
West Hills Park parking lot, 400 N Winston Rd.
West Hills Park parking lot, 7624 Sheffield Dr.
Milton Roberts Recreation Center parking lot
Northwest Greenway in Northwest Middle School Park, 5325 Pleasant Ridge Rd.
Solid Waste Management Facility, 1033 Elm St.
Duracap Asphalt Paving Company has been contracted to execute the $600,000 paving contract. Crews have already begun work.
Milton Roberts Recreation Center parking lot
The lot at Milton Roberts Recreation Center has already been paved and should receive striping any day.
West Hills Park - Winston Road parking lots
The parking lots for West Hills Park (Sheffield Drive and Winston Road) have been graded and paving will begin Thursday, June 21. Work is expected to be completed on both lots by Friday, June 22. (Weather permitting, of course).
West Hills Park - Sheffield Drive parking lot
This is the first time that the parking lot located on Sheffield Drive, which serves a ballfield and pickleball courts, will be paved. Until now, it has been a gravel lot. After the asphalt work is completed on the Sheffield Drive parking lot, the contractor will remove and replace the concrete entrances.
Northwest Greenway in Northwest Middle School Park
Crews will begin resurfacing the Northwest Greenway, located in Northwest Middle School Park, the morning of Wednesday, June 20.
Solid Waste Management Facility resurfacing area
The Solid Waste Management Facility will be paved following completion of the Parks and Recreation paving projects.
