Mayor Rogero Welcomes Artists
Mayor Rogero Welcomes Artists
Mayor Rogero’s office felt like a buzzing art gallery Dec. 6 when approximately 30 members of the Arts and Culture Alliance visited the sixth floor of the City County Building to discover where their work will be displayed for the next five months.
The Mayor welcomed the group, led by Arts and Culture Alliance Executive Director Liza Zenni, and thanked them for offering their art to be enjoyed by staff members and visitors alike.
“The talent in our region is limitless,” Mayor Rogero said, marveling at the number of different artists who have participated in the exhibit with rare repeats.
The pieces — photographs, paintings, mixed media work, pottery – are on display in Mayor Rogero’s office and anteroom, as well as in the hallway outside County Mayor Tim Burchett’s offices until May 2017.
