Many thanks to the dozens of local artists who are exhibiting their artwork on the sixth floor of the City County Building - some amazing talent on display! The public is encouraged to come by and admire these provocative, fun pieces.
The Arts and Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville organizes the rotating exhibit of paintings, drawings, sculptures and mixed-media creations. The exhibit demonstrates the wide range of styles and techniques in our area.
During a reception this morning in the Mayor's Office, it was great to meet each of the artists and talk with them about their inspirations and how they've perfected their techniques. City and County workers in the coming months will really enjoy the artwork hanging on the walls throughout the sixth floor.
