City of Knoxville Business Liaison Patricia Robledo greets David Thomasson, chef/owner, and Carrie Farris with Farm to Griddle Crepes.

Thursday evening, it was a gathering of foodies and families in the parking lot next to Blue Slip Winery and the historic Southern Railway Station on Depot Avenue.

The third edition of the Southern Station Live Food Truck Park & Market drew a mix of the hungry, the curious and the loyal followers. There were plenty of youngsters in strollers, with music performed by Josiah Atchley.

Mobile food vendors included Breezy Weenie, Farm to Griddle Crepes, Forks on the Road, Holy Smokin BBQ, Oishii Knox, Poutine Mobile and The Lunch Box.

Mark your calendar for the next big food truck event at the Southern Railway Station - 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 16.
