Celebrate the Fourth!
Celebrate the Fourth!
As you make plans for Independence Day, don't forget the Festival on the Fourth at World's Fair Park! It kicks off at 4 p.m. Saturday, with music and kids activities, and continues with the annual Knoxville Symphony Orchestra patriotic concert starting at 8 p.m., leading up to fireworks at about 9:40 p.m.
For all details, including parking information,
see the webpage
.
Also, if you're downtown in the evening this weekend, take a look at the lights on the Henley Bridge. They are arrayed in a red, white and blue pattern, in honor of Independence Day. Thanks to Dan Andrews of Knox Focus for the photo above.
Finally, just a reminder: City of Knoxville offices are closed today (Friday the 3rd). Garbage and recycling pickup are on their normal schedule.
Have a great weekend!
