Fatal wreck on Middlebrook Pike

On Monday, January 27, 2020 at around 10:35 p.m., Knoxville Police Department officers were dispatched to a wreck on Middlebrook Pike at Robinson Road involving a car and a motorcycle. The 38-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was transported to the UT Medical Center following the accident and was later pronounced deceased.

The preliminary investigation determined that the motorcycle appeared to be traveling west on Middlebrook Pike towards the intersection while the car was traveling east and turning left onto Robinson Road when the collision occurred. There were no other injuries reported.

The KPD Crash Reconstruction team responded to the scene and the investigation remains ongoing.
