At around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, officers with the Knoxville Police Department responded to the alley between Iredell Avenue and Pickett Avenue near Boyd Street, where a deceased female was located.
Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and are in the early stages of their investigation.
