Overnight hit-and-run injure...
Overnight hit-and-run injures four persons
On Sunday, February 23 at 2:54 a.m., KPD officers responded to the parking lot at the corner of Willow and Central Streets on a hit-and-run involving injury.
According to witnesses at the scene, a fight started for unknown reasons in the parking lot. The suspect, a black male in his twenties with dreadlocks and wearing a bright orange shirt, then entered his vehicle and drove off at a high rate of speed. The suspect, driving a black Infinity or Mazda, hit several parked cars and then struck four persons that were standing beside their vehicles. The suspect then exited his vehicle and started fighting with several other unknown persons. He then re-entered his car and fled the scene.
Two people were seriously injured and the other two received minor injuries. Both serious patients were transported to U.T. Hospital by EMS.
