Three juveniles, one adult arrested following response to stolen vehicle

At 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, KPD officers responded to a stolen vehicle on Louise Avenue. The vehicle, a blue Honda Accord that was stolen from Atchley Street, had left prior to the arrival of officers, but was tracked via the victim’s phone to the Pilot located at 3004 Magnolia Avenue. Officers responded to that location and recovered the vehicle, while two males fled on foot and at least one other subject fled in a separate vehicle.

While continuing that investigation, the victim’s phone was tracked to the Walmart on Kinzel Way and officers responded to that location. Upon arrival there, officers observed and detained four males – one adult and three juveniles – who were observed on Walmart security footage exiting a silver Hyundai. That vehicle was also reported as stolen and recovered by officers, who also recovered stolen property from the original victim’s vehicle.

All four suspects were charged with two counts of Auto Theft and one count of Theft of Property.
