Shooting Victim on E. Magnolia Avenue

On Friday, September 25, 2020 at around 1:20 p.m., Knoxville Police Department officers responded to the Exxon located at 2561 E. Magnolia Avenue, where a male victim was located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, who was transported to the UT Medical Center with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening, indicated that the shooting occurred in an alley near Washington Avenue. The victim then fled in a vehicle to the Exxon. There is no suspect information available at this time. Violent Crimes Unit investigators responded to the scene to begin their investigation, which remains in the preliminary stages.
