Victim Identified from Fatal...
Victim Identified from Fatal MLK Jr. Avenue Shooting
The victim from the fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday night at 2239 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue has been identified as Vincent Williams, 28 of Knoxville.
57-year-old Ralphelle James was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and convicted felon in possession of a weapon after witnesses on scene stated that Mr. James fled the scene in a dark-colored BMW, which was later located and stopped at the Weigel’s on Summit Hill.
The Knoxville Police Department is extremely grateful to the community for their assistance and cooperation in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, which ultimately resulted in the timely identification and arrest of the suspect.
