Neighborhood and Safety Awar...
Neighborhood and Safety Awareness Meeting for East Knoxville Community Set for February 24
On Thursday, February 24, the Knoxville Police Department will partner with the Office of Neighborhood Empowerment, Police Advisory & Review Committee, Office of Community Safety and East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers to host the first in a series of Neighborhood Safety and Awareness Meetings.
This meeting will be held at Logan Temple AME Zion Church at 2744 Selma Avenue from 6-8 p.m. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss public safety matters with residents, address ongoing concerns and provide available resources. The meeting will be held in the sanctuary and annex of Logan Temple AME Zion Church and any residents in the highlighted area are invited and encouraged to attend.
