Lots Happening! Check Out Winter 2016 Edition, South Waterfront Newsletter

Stay tuned: We'll pass a number of milestones in 2016 as the South Waterfront momentum continues to build.

Examples:

- Grading work has started for the Riverwalk at the Bridges apartment complex (on the former Baptist Hospital site).

- The Riverfront Station apartment complex anticipates breaking ground this spring.

- Work on a new gateway entrance to Fort Dickerson Park is expected to get underway later this year.

- Anticipate a new restaurant, the Landing House, to open this summer in the former Civil Air Patrol building at 1147 Sevier Ave. That renovation project (and another at a former Sevier Avenue laundromat building that now houses a craft brewery) are benefiting from commercial façade grants through the City’s Community Development Department, as well as from updates in the Form-Based Code that helped make such renovations possible.

Get updates on these and other developments by reading the easy-to-access South Waterfront Newsletter. Click on this link to view the newly-formatted Winter 2016 edition:
