Now that the 2022/23 budget has been approved, which includes a compensation overhaul, we are moving into the implementation stage.
Here is what comes next:
All applicable full-time and permanent part-time employees, who have one-year or greater tenure on June 1, 2022, will receive a $2000 retention bonus.
• Uniformed/Sworn employees will get their bonus on June 16th.
• General Government employees will get their bonus on June 23rd.
• Remember this bonus will be paid separately from your regular payroll check and taxes will be withheld from the $2000.
On June 24th, 2022, each individual employee will receive an updated compensation statement detailing changes to their salary effective July 1st.
We understand that some of this might be confusing, so we will be releasing a video in late June to help walk people through some of the compensation changes, specifically the step program for uniformed employees.
