tour de lightsBike Walk Knoxville and Visit Knoxville host the 13th Annual Tour de Lights bicycle parade Saturday, Dec. 14.

This family-friendly event regularly draws up to 1,000 riders on a holiday spin from the Old City, through Fourth and Gill, Old North, Emory Place and back to Market Square.

Tour de Lights participants will assemble near the Old City on Willow Avenue near Patton Street facing east. Costumed riders can begin registering for the costume contest at 4 p.m. Judging begins at 4:30 p.m. Contest winners will be announced after the ride’s conclusion in Market Square around 7 p.m., and participants must be present to win. Additional information is available at www.ibikeknx.com/tourdelights and KnoxvilleTN.gov.
