Mayor Speaks at AIA Luncheon

City of Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero and Knox County Chief of Staff Dean Rice (representing Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett) spoke at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) East Tennessee Mayor's Luncheon today at the Foundry.

Mayor Rogero and Dean Rice answered questions from AIA members regarding economic development.

Gold Medal and Friend of Architecture Awards were presented at the luncheon by AIA East Tennessee President Kelly Headden and President Elect John Sanders.

AIA East Tennessee is the local chapter of The American Institute of Architects that serves architects and the public in 17 counties of East Tennessee. The chapter was chartered in 1953 and currently serves over 200 members.
