Sharp's Ridge Veterans Memorial Park offers one of the best views in the City to see the Smoky Mountains. The park features a scenic overlook platform with signage identifying each mountain peak and is only a short ten minute drive from Downtown Knoxville.

The park also features several unpaved walking/hiking trails including 4.7 miles of multi-use trails that wind across the wooded hills and a 0.6-mile downhill-only trail for mountain bikers (no foot traffic or dogs allowed). Sharp's Ridge is home to many songbirds and bird watchers often frequent the park to view them.

The Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society holds many group hikes at Sharp's Ridge for bird watching.

An additional 42 acres on the north side of the ridge was donated in 2021 by Legacy Parks Foundation.  This area is accessed from Tiberius Road and features parking, a playground, and trailhead.
