A contractor, Johnson & Galyon Construction, will be repaving the parking lot at Fort Kid, 1075 World’s Fair Park Drive, starting Monday, March 14.
The 80-space lot will be closed for the duration of the work.
The almost $80,000 project will be finished by the end of the day Wednesday, March 16, weather permitting.
The lot was damaged last summer when an underground storm water drain collapsed.
Next week’s repaving will repair the uneven surface that remained after City crews replaced the drain.
