Lawson McGhee Library is getting a much needed facelift with new paint and carpet.
The Children's Room will close Wednesday, November 9 at noon after storytime for an overhaul.
When it reopens on Monday, November 21, patrons will see all new shelving, carpet and paint.
The circular story well has been filled in for additional space.
The Children's Room bathrooms will be renovated as well.
As all materials will be stored on carts and tables during the installation, Library staff may not be able to retrieve juvenile books and items in the usual timely manner.
