Posted: 04/05/2019
The Police Advisory and Review Committee (PARC) will hold their next meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Regal Headquarters located at 101 E. Blount Avenue.

During this first-quarter meeting, PARC will present its 2018 Annual Report and share the citizen complaints brought before PARC during the first three months of 2019 and their outcomes. Knoxville Police Department will also lead a training session demonstrating how law enforcement officers use audio video surveillance technology.

The meeting’s agenda will include committee business, speakers who have requested to address the committee, and an open forum (limited to three minutes per speaker). To sign up to speak at the meeting, contact Ola Blackmon-McBride at 865-215-3966.

Parking is available in the Visitors Lot on E. Blount Avenue, accessible via Sevier Avenue, located across from Regal Headquarters. Additional parking is available on Sevier Avenue and within the paved lot between Sevier and Council Place.

Anyone needing a disability accommodation to be able to attend should contact Stephanie Cook at scook@knoxvilletn.gov or 865-215-2034. For an English interpreter, contact the Title VI coordinator Tatia Harris at 865-215-2831.

Residents with concerns about crime and safety in the City of Knoxville are invited to attend PARC’s quarterly meetings, which are open to the general public and held in varying locations around the city. PARC’s primary objective is to strengthen the relationships and communication between the KPD and Knoxville residents.
