Posted: 01/22/2020
The City of Knoxville Police Advisory & Review Committee (PARC) will hold its 4th Quarter meeting on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 at 6 p.m. at the Haslam-Sansom Ministry Complex in Lonsdale at 1740 Texas Ave..

At the meeting, PARC members will present their annual report, including the total number of cases received in 2019 by the Knoxville Police Department’s Internal Affairs Unit. KPD officers will present an overview of crime in Knoxville, providing data on KPD’s response to criminal activity that’s occurred within city limits.

The meeting agenda also includes review of Internal Affairs Unit cases received during the 4th Quarter period, committee business, speakers who have requested to address the committee, and an open forum (limited to three minutes per speaker). To sign up to speak, contact Ola Blackmon-McBride at 865-215-3966.

Established in 1998 to provide an independent review of police activity and make recommendations to the Chief of Police, PARC is the longest continuously running citizen-run police advisory board in Tennessee.
