Event/Seasonal Temporary Recreation Employment includes part-time, hourly, at-will, seasonal positions such as recreation assistant, summer jobs, lifeguards, umpires/referees, scorekeepers, bus drivers, etc.  You can apply for these positions directly with Parks & Recreation, as they are not posted on the City of Knoxville Civil Service employment site.  Applicants must complete I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and must bring proper documentation (click for list with more information on approved identification [PDF]). • Greenways Ranger/AmeriCorps PositionThis position is an opportunity to build your resume with experience in park and trail management, land management and data management.
