KUB will implement a closure of the N. Broadway and W. Jackson Avenue intersection to perform water and electric distribution system work in support of new development continuously from 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, through midnight Friday, March 23.
The closure will not be implemented until the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade has concluded, and will end before the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon the weekend of March 24.
One lane of northbound traffic from N. Broadway will remain available to W. Jackson Avenue.
As part of this intersection closure, the following sections of road will also be closed:
• Oak Avenue between Blackstock Avenue and N. Broadway
• Worlds Fair Park Drive between L&N Station Drive and N. Broadway
• N. Broadway between W. Depot Avenue and W. Jackson Avenue
• Westbound lane of W. Jackson Avenue between Gay Street and N. Broadway
