The Parks and Recreation Department provides many sport activities and always needs coaches for these organized activities. It is a privilege, not a right to be a coach and mentor to youth. The safety of the children involved is our number one concern. All volunteer coaches must pass a background check every 2 years, wear an ID badge to signify that this has been completed, and sign the safety documents per State law.
