Zoo Knoxville’s Big Egg Hunt will take place Saturday, March 31, 2018. Easter eggs-some for guests and some for animals-will be hidden throughout the zoo and quite a few will have surprises inside.
Beginning at the zoo’s 9:00 a.m. opening on Saturday, zoo visitors are encouraged to search for eggs hidden along zoo pathways. Zoo-goers should especially be on the lookout for prize eggs that contain treasures such as tokens for rides in the park, fun treats and the grand prize of an annual pass good for one year of family admission. All eggs will be hidden throughout the zoo at 9:00 a.m. and will last until all have been discovered.
Animals also get in on the fun with special enrichment sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that invite guests to participate in creating, placing and watching the animals enjoy their treats at special Animal Encounters each day.
Zoo Knoxville is currently offering $2 off general admission tickets through Saturday, March 31, 2018. All Big Egg Hunt activities are included as part of general zoo admission.
