Each quarter, the Special Events team meets with the City's Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation and Public Service Departments to discuss any events that are coming up and what is needed in order for the event to happen.
Anyone desiring to have an event in the City are welcome to attend the meetings. Attendees will be given invaluable information on what is required to utilize a city property, apply for permits, initiate a street closure and more.
