45 years
Debbie Beeler
As of Nov. 17, Debbie Beeler has worked for the City of Knoxville for 45 years in the Parks and Recreation department.
During her career, Debbie has served under seven mayors and worked at four recreation centers--Fountain City, West Haven, Cagle Terrace Highrise, and South Knoxville Community Center, where she's been for more than 25 years.
Debbie specializes in senior programming, offering neighbors opportunities in ceramics, music, dance, arts, and various social gatherings. She is known for her craftiness, as well as her cooking. If our senior centers weren't currently closed due to the pandemic, you'd be likely to find Debbie conducting Bingo for her participants and then making them a hot lunch to enjoy.
Congratulations, Debbie, and thank you for 45 years!
