2020 By the Numbers: Infographic Reflects Some of the City's Highlights
For most Knoxville families, 2020 was a year of uncertainty.
City government likewise faced more than its share of unprecedented new challenges, to be sure.

Seeking fresh perspectives and reimaging policing amidst rising national racial tensions was a crucially important undertaking.
The crippling summer malware attack seemed to make everything more difficult.

Think you can guess this month’s mystery employee?
He’s been with the City of Knoxville for more than 30 years.
He loves Indian food--the spicier the better--and has lived in East Tennessee for 53 years.
He teaches yoga and Pilates, and you may have taken his class at the City County Building.
He has a pottery studio in his basement. Is that a clue to his retirement plans?
