This month's mystery employee is...Chip Barry!
As the City's Deputy Chief of Operations, Chip oversees contracts and relationships with the Public Building Authority and ASM Global (managers of the Convention Center, Chilhowee Park and Civic Coliseum and Auditorium). Most recently, he's taken on the role of the City's COVID-19 Coordinator.
More informally, Chip is a sharer of treats, including Magpies' thumbprint cookies and chocolate-covered caramels. Generosity is a valuable trait in a colleague and a family member -- Chip is the youngest of 10 children and has 26 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
We know they're lucky to have him and so are we!
