Waste Connections, the City's household garbage collector, will run normal residential routes on Friday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 31.
City of Knoxville offices will be closed, as will the Solid Waste Management Facility located 1033 Elm St., on Friday, Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
Trash in the downtown area will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 23 and Sunday, Dec. 26.
The City's recycling centers remain open throughout the holiday weekends, although attendants will be at the N. Peters Road and Fountain City locations only on Friday Dec. 24.
