The Compassion Coalition is seeking donations of furniture and household goods for individuals displaced by Hurricane Katrina who are moving into permanent housing in the Knoxville area.
The coalition's warehouse, located at 9915 Kingston Pike (behind Cokesbury Center) is open today through Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accept donations of good condition household furniture such as beds, tables, dressers, couches and other household goods.
