KUB will have the following closures from September 18-24:
(North Knox) Woodview Drive Road Closure [September 18] – KUB crews will close Woodview Drive between Haynes Sterchi Road and Cedar Heights Road from 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, September 18, as work is performed on both the water distribution and wastewater collection systems in the area. Alternate routes include Haynes Sterchi Road, Cedar Lane, and Cedar Heights Road. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic, and follow-up advisories will be issued as necessary.
(Pleasant Ridge) Road Closure – Bradshaw Garden Road [September 19] – KUB crews will close Bradshaw Garden Road between Rambling Road and Vada Circle from 6:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, September 19, as work is performed on the wastewater collection system in the area. Alternate routes include Rambling Road, Vada Circle, Wandering Road, Moss Drive, and Paris Road. Local traffic access will be maintained, and follow-up advisories will be issued as necessary.
(Pleasant Ridge) Road Closure – Sullivan Road [September 20] – KUB crews will close Sullivan Road between Walnoaks Road and Palmetto Road to through traffic from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday, September 20, as work is performed on the water distribution system in the area. Alternate routes include Walnoaks Road, Pleasant Ridge Road, Bradshaw Gardens, Ball Camp Road, and Western Avenue. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic, and follow-up advisories will be issued as necessary.
(Sequoyah Hills) Traffic Impacts [September 20-24] – KUB contract crews will implement the below traffic control measures as indicated daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday, September 20, through Friday, September 24, as work continues on the wastewater collection system in the area:
Intermittent lane closures
• Keowee Avenue between Iskagna Drive and Talahi Drive
• Hillvale Circle
• Keowee Avenue between Iskagna Drive and Cherokee Boulevard
Intermittent road closures
• Cherokee Boulevard between Kenesaw Avenue and Woodland Drive
Residential access will be maintained, and through traffic should follow KUB's onsite detours.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction.
Appropriate KUB traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas.
Due to the ongoing presence of KUB workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
