City of Knoxville offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th in observance of Christmas Day.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector, will be closed Christmas Day and will resume service on Wednesday, Dec. 26.
There will be no downtown trash collections on Tuesday, Dec. 25.
The city's recycling centers will remain open through the holiday.
The city's Solid Waste Management Facility, located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed Dec. 25.
