It's time for "Movies on the Town", a FREE outdoor movie series brought to you by the Knox County Public Library. Movies will be shown at the World's Fair Park on September 5, 12,19 and at Market Square for October 3, 10, and 17.
The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. with pre-show entertainment and the movies kick off at dusk. So get your blanket or lawn chairs in tip-top shape and prepare for a night in front of the silver screen!

What's the schedule?
Pre-show entertainment starts Fridays at 7:30 p.m., and movies start around 8:30--as soon as it's dark enough!
World's Fair Park: Fridays, September 5, 12, and 19
Market Square: Fridays, October 3, 10 and 17
Where are the movies?
This year, they're in two different locations--the festival lawn at World's Fair Park and on Market Square. The movies in September will be at World's Fair Park, and those in October will be at Market Square.
Where do I park?
Free parking is available at the World's Fair Park parking lot, the Market Street Garage, the Locust Street Garage, the State Street Garage, and on the street.
What's at World's Fair Park?
You'll be able to go for a splash in the giant fountains (bring a towel!) before the movie. You can grab food from downtown on your way, or check out the hot dog vendor, and enjoy a picnic on the biggest lawn in town--and there are even real bathrooms!
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are invited to join us at the Park, as long as they bring their best doggie manners and stay on their leashes. Please be considerate of other movie goers. If your little furry friend is prone to woofing, howling, or other expressions of joy, we'd hate to see you end up in the dog house. Oh, and bring one of those fashionable little plastic bags--just in case.
