Ijams Nature Center, a division of Knoxville Parks and Recreation, will hold their 8th Annual Native Plant Sale Saturday, April 25, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Local nurseries and other vendors will sell native plants, crafts, and refreshments at this free event. The sale features a wide variety of native trees, shrubs, perennial flowers, wildflowers, herbs, vegetables and baked goods.
Additionally, Chris Mahoney will give a free seminar called "Hummingbird-Loving Flowers" at 11 a.m.
Karen Fletcher of Lowland Streams will perform entertainment music throughout the day.
All sales proceeds go to benefit Ijams Nature Center. Ijams is only four miles from downtown, located at 2915 Island Home Ave. in South Knoxville.
