Knox County Public Library and Knoxville Jazz Festival Inc. proudly announce the 4th annual Knoxville Jazz Festival March 4-7, 2009. The four day event presents jazz for all tastes from big band to an intimate piano quartet to straight ahead to the eclectic and edgy. It features Knoxville's own excellent jazz players as well as internationally acclaimed musicians. A pre-festival tribute concert in honor of Jerry Coker, founder of UT's Jazz Program, kicks off the festivities on February 22, 2009.
