City of Knoxville offices will be closed Monday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday and Monday, January 2nd for the New Year Holiday.
Waste Connections, the city's household garbage collector will run their normal schedule on Monday, December 26th and also on Monday, January 2nd.
The downtown trash collection will not run on Monday, December 26th. They will also not run on Monday, January 2nd.
The city's recycling centers will be open but the Goodwill trailers will close on Christmas Eve at 1:00 P.M. and be closed all day on Christmas Day.
The city's Solid Waste Management facility located at 1033 Elm Street will be closed on Saturday, December 24th and Monday, December 26th for the Christmas holiday.
