The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Lucas Richman continue an age-old holiday tradition in East Tennessee with the 25th Annual Clayton Holiday concerts.
Performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, December 16 and 17, at 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18, at 3:00 PM at the Civic Auditorium.
The shows, sponsored by Clayton Homes, Clayton Bank and Trust and Clayton Volvo, are a perfect way to celebrate the season with the entire family.
"I always look forward to our Clayton Holiday Concerts because, as an East Tennessee tradition, they provide an opportunity for the whole community to come together and celebrate family, love and wonderful music," says KSO Music Director Lucas Richman. This year's concerts will feature performances by special guests Jim Clayton, Hallerin Hilton Hill and Logan Murrell, classical and traditional holiday favorites such as Anderson's Sleigh Ride and Christmas Festival Overture, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus with the Knoxville Choral Society, performances by Go!
Contemporary Dance Works, music by the Sound Company Children's Choir, the traditional Christmas sing-along with the KSO audience and everyone's favorite elf: Santa Claus!

The KSO has contributed to the cultural life in East Tennessee since 1935. Under the leadership of Lucas Richman, the orchestra consists of more than 80 professional musicians and performs more than 200 programs throughout East Tennessee each season.
Performing in traditional venues such as the Tennessee Theatre, Bijou Theatre and the Civic Auditorium, and in non-traditional places like hospitals, school classrooms, nursing homes, city parks and churches, the KSO reaches more than 200,000 people throughout the region each year.
