The City of Knoxville is seeking nominations for appointments to the Mayor's Council on Disability Issues (CODI). This 21-person advisory council was created to provide direction and guidance to the Mayor and City Council in matters concerning persons with disabilities. Nominees may be a person with a disability, a family member, or a disability-related agency representative.
Representation by people with experience in specific disability communities such as veterans, mental health, amputees, stroke, children and seniors is desired. Preference will be given to a nominee with a disability.
