The Knox County Health Department, in collaboration with the Teen Health Empowerment Study and Knoxville Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Initiative (KAPPI), is hosting an educational conference titled Women Today and Tomorrow, a Conference for Professionals: Changing with the Times on Wednesday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of Tennessee Conference Center, 600 Henley Street.

Topics include teen pregnancy prevention and women's health policies. The conference is open to anyone interested in women's health issues. The cost is $35 or $10 for students and includes lunch. Registration is available at mybodymyfuture.com. Continuing education credits have been approved for social workers and Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES), CEU approval for nurses and nurse practitioners is pending.
