April 4, 2014 - On Wednesday, April 16 at 5:30 p.m. City officials will present schematic designs for the Magnolia Avenue Streetscapes project, based on recommendations outlined in the 2009 MPC Magnolia Avenue Corridor Plan.
The meeting will be held at the John T. O' Connor Senior Citizens Center located at 611 Winona St.
The City's professional engineering design consultant, Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., will discuss both short- and long-term improvements. One of three nodes, or centers of activity, along the three-mile corridor was recommended for initial designation as a model block, and the consultant developed a detailed Streetscapes design for that block. The block spans from Jessamine Street to North Bertrand Street.
Renderings will be on display and available for viewing. This meeting will solicit public comment and input.
