May 7, 2014 - Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero and Police Chief David Rausch named Becky Kreisa the February Employee of the Month for the Knoxville Police Department. Ms. Kreisa has been with the department since October 2000.
Chief Rausch said that in late 2013, the Knoxville Police Department made the decision to produce a department legacy album. The album will contain individual portraits of all KPD personnel, group and action pictures of all special units, historical photos along with information and facts about the department. Ms. Kreisa was asked to take the lead in working with the photography company to organize all aspects of the project including the scheduling of all department personnel for individual pictures, site selection for promotional pictures, and securing a suitable site for the photography company representatives to conduct their work.
Chief Rausch said, "Ms. Kreisa worked tirelessly during January and February to insure that all personnel and specialty units were available and made their scheduled appointments. She continues to work closely with the company to make sure they have everything they need to create an album that the entire department will be proud of."
