Awards and Honors for November 2022

Posted: 11/16/2022

Congratulations to Karisa Scott, Procurement Specialist in Purchasing!

On Monday, October 24, Karisa received her Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) Certification. The UPPCC issues the CPPB and CPPO certifications which reflect established standards and competencies for those engaged in government procurement and attest to the procurement professional’s ability to obtain maximum value for the taxpayer’s dollar. The CPPO and CPPB designations communicate to government administrators and to the taxpayer that the public employee managing public funds has reached a specific level of education and expertise in government procurement.
