Meet Ryan Noles, a 311 Customer Service Representative!
“Working for 311 has been such a unique experience,” he says. “I have met so many people and helped with numerous projects. Here, I feel like I’ve learned and grown so much.”
Ryan is the oldest of four siblings, who all have the initials KRN, same as their parents.
311 has the most contact with City residents, who call “Knoxville’s phone number” to ask every kind of question under the sun.
Ryan played a pivotal role in the department’s recent video, which debuted on 211 Day (March 11) and will be shared with attendees of the annual ENGAGE311 Conference in early May.
Plus, I have the added benefit of being part of a fun-loving and supportive team.
Really, where else am I going participate in crazy fun videos like the ones we’ve made?
“Overall, working for the City, specifically 311, has been an uplifting and overwhelmingly positive experience,” Ryan says. “I’m constantly reminded that my presence here does make a difference, whether it be through speaking with residents or just being a visible transgender individual in the building.”
Thanks for all you do, Ryan!
